Classic Renditions 1 - The Floating Bill
Learn to float a dollar bill. Few effects wow and audience more than this one.

Rubber Band Magic
Rubber band magic can be performed anytime, anywhere - and to prove it, Michael performs 3 great effects in a swimming pool! You will learn: Crazyman's Handcuffs, The Rubber Ladder and Broken & Restored Rubber Band.

Classic Renditions 3 - Thumbtip Bill Switch
Discover the secrets of changing a $1 bill into a $100 dollar bill. Or turn a bill inside out, all under tight scrutiny!

Classic Renditions 4 - Roll Over Aces
A great effect for TV. Find all 4 aces and royal flushes in a repeatedly shuffled deck! You will not only learn Roll Over Aces, but also ways to produce the aces. Includes a Super Practice Session.

$2000 Transpo
A fun story is used to frame an impossible transposition of two cards.

8 Card Brainwave & Red Hot Mama
This is a dynamite combination! The 8 Card Brainwave is probably the most versatile card classic Nick Trost ever created. Red Hot Mama is probably in the repertoire of 90% of professional magicians for a good reason.

21st Century Card Trick
This really is a brilliantly structured effect. A simple little ‘move’ that makes it all happen and delivers a surprise ending.

Deception Perception
Some consider this to be a more powerful rendition of Red Hot Mama, where only 1 card changes. But you’ll have to try it yourself to know for sure and you can learn everything you need to know in less than 5 minutes!

Cannibal Cards
Cannibal Cards - one of the top 5 card effects of all time! The card themselves become animated characters in the presentation.
Night at the Improv - A great story utilizing every card in the deck!

Coins Through Silk
This effect was in Michael's 1982 FISM Gold Medal winning act. Watch half dollars "melt" through a sheer scarf. It can play in wide variety of arenas and fits in your pocket!

Spelling Collins Aces, Sleeve Aces & Jumping Gemini
These time tested, elegantly structured routines are audience-proven classics of card magic and stand in contrast to the quick eye-candy card stunts you see so much of today.

Twisting the Aces
If you have any interest in the history of magic then you will love this, because these are three of the most interesting effects in the history of card magic.

Two Shuffles Harry
The Zarrow Shuffle, along with brilliant routining, creates an impossible double discovery that sets the audience up for a surprise climax that involves every card in the deck!

Virginia City Shuffle
This astonishing effect just uses a blank card and regular Aces, yet impossible things happen. Ultimately, you might end up thinking the secret method is even be better than the effect!

$2 Bill Tear & Expansion of Texture
$2 Bill Tear is perfect for strolling. Very visual. No matter how slow you go, they are still stunned when a $2 bill splits into 2 $1 bills. Dai Vernon's Expansion of Texture is great classic, worth it's weight in gold!

The Ultimate 3 Card Monte
The Ultimate 3 Card Monte is the holy grail of powerful, simple, card effects that will be in-your-face-impossible as long as the current laws of physics still apply.

Mind Reading Chicken
A spectator picks any card she wants, and then picks any egg. After apparently failing to locate the selected card, the egg is broken and written in yolk on the INSIDE of the egg shell is the name of the selected card!

Miracle / Oil & Queens / Queens Soiree
Not only great card effects on their own, but you’ll see how they can be routined to flow naturally one into another.

.41 Cent Miracle
Very simple. Requires virtually no set up. If you like effects that give you a chance to say something meaningful to your audience, and packs small and plays big, then I think you'll love the .41 Cent Miracle.

6 Card Royal
After a card is selected, there seems to be an additional card with the count of each card. After 5 cards are placed on the table, you smash down the final cards leaving 1: the selection. But that's not all, the 5 cards are a perfect Royal Flush!

4 Minutes of Fame
Allow a random spectator to perform cups and balls without you touching a thing! A surprising routine everyone loves. Multimedia PDF file.

Bent Penny Transpo / Hornswoggled
Bent Penny Transpo: In the spectator's hand, a borrowed penny is magically bent and left with the owner in it's permanently altered state! Hornswoggled is basically a self-working bill counting routine!

Beswitched
George Hample's transposition of a $1 and a $5 is my favorite of all the "in the spectator’s hands" transpositions with currency.

Haunted Pack / Between the Palms
The Haunted Pack is one of the most magical ways you can possibly reveal a selection, because the deck literally cuts itself in a mysterious way so the card can reveal itself! Between the Palms made Alex Elmsley a legend.

Bill to Nut
Two spectators loan dollar bills, which are torn in half. They each keep one half. Then a freely selected peanut is broken open to reveal their matching money inside!

Caller ID
This beautiful idea by Eric Allan can be done with any cell phone and any deck of cards. It's contemporary, surprising and the kind of effect that people will remember for a long, long time!

Card in Balloon
A fun and interactive stand up effect. The popping of the balloon to find the signed selection brings a perfect type of theatrical closure to the effect.

Cards Across
Two packs of seven cards are counted and placed into envelopes that are set on by two spectators. Yet two specifically, freely selected cards travel from one packet to the other under impossible conditions.

Cards into Card Box / The Gun Trick / Card on Ceiling
What a great set of card magic! Lefler’s Cards into Box is a perfect way to go into a card effect, and Krenzel’s Gun Trick is not only cool and novel, it is also very deceptive. Card on the Ceiling is always in my repertoire.

Cash Back
A standup routine featuring a borrowed bill, a safety pin and a dry cleaning ticket. In short, the bill magically transforms itself into the dry cleaning ticket. Where does the bill end up? Pinned squarely on your back!

Cheaters Poker
Theatrical version of Gambler vs Magician that is strong enough to play in Stand-Up situations.

Close Up Illusion / Play It Straight Triumph
Using only 3 cards and no funny moves at all, you can create the living experience of watching trick photography close up. Triumph: a forgotten card allows you to redeem yourself, but you do so in the most surprising process you can imagine!

Michael Ammar Live at the Magic Castle
Michael's lecture filmed live in the Magic Castle Palace of Mystery in 1990.

Borrowed Bill Routine
John teaches his Borrowed Bill routine. This is a stand-up comedy routine featuring a borrowed bill from the audience, that disappears and re-appears in a surprising and funny sequence of events.
